

It just wasn't really believable that an entity that lived for. What I felt really held the book back though were all the interactions between the god and the MC. Having people separate into different warring groups and fighting over rewards and with each other was relatively believable as well as all the jockeying for power/position along with many avoiding combat entirely out of fear was much more interesting/realistic. Most stories within this genre seem to have everyone want to group up and become friends and work together fighting the monsters (or make literally everyone a murder hobo).

I thought the author did a pretty solid job envisioning how a bunch of random people would react to all being dumped in a kill to survive scenario.
